International brand Jacuzzi® have pledged their support to Hull FC during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, extending their Elite Performance Partnership with the club!
One of the club’s most high-profile primary partners, alongside main club sponsor Atropa Pharmacy, Jacuzzi® will continue their partnership into the 2021 Season, which will be further enhanced by a number of new initiatives which will be announced this autumn.
Arguably one of the club’s most significant partners in their 155-year history, the global manufacturer and distributor of whirlpool baths, hot tubs, swim spas and saunas have become integral club partners since 2018, alongside local showroom distributor Outdoor Living, the largest Jacuzzi® hot-tub retailer in Europe.
Unlike many normal sponsorships, Jacuzzi® are embracing their health and wellness mantra by playing a hands-on role in the preparation and recovery of the Hull’s first-team players, including the installation of a state-of-the-art hydrotherapy spa at their training ground which provides proven benefits of pain reduction and flexibility.
The training ground was recently renamed the Jacuzzi® Elite Performance Centre, whilst the famous brand also adorns the player’s match day warm-up shirts, which also include the names of every member of the Hull FC Hall of Fame, linking the key principles of heritage and performance shared by both the club and Jacuzzi®.
The elite performance story also takes centre stage during the games, with supporters able to vote for the Jacuzzi® Man of the Match at every Hull FC fixture, whilst this weekend the club will wear a special edition shirt in the 6th Round of the Coral Challenge Cup, featuring Jacuzzi® as the central sponsor
The shirt is a special tribute to the 2005 Challenge Cup winning team, which was launched 15 years to the day that the club lifted the trophy in Cardiff, with a donation from every shirt sold going to former player Rob Burrow in support of his battle with MND, having featured for Leeds Rhinos in that final.
Hull FC are not the only key sports partner of the Jacuzzi® brand, sitting alongside the likes of GB Triathlete Kimberley Morrison, Olympic gold medallist Sally Gunnell OBE and French Rugby Union captain Guilhem Guirado, amongst many others.
With a strong focus on wellness, both physically and mentally, Jacuzzi® are committed to playing a key role in the performance of the Hull FC team, as well as supporting the club through a commercially critical period due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Andy Bewicke, Business Development Director for Jacuzzi® in the UK said:
“We are proud to have agreed a significant extension to our current Elite Performance Partnership with Hull FC that will evolve our programs with the club even further.
“Our goal remains to support the Performance Team at Hull FC in helping players Recover Faster and Perform Better through Hydromassage.
“There has never been a more vital time for our partnership given the condensed upcoming fixture lists, whilst commercially we are committed to supporting the club through this unprecedented period.”
He added, “We have already built a fantastic relationship with everyone at the club and our joint vision and aspirations made this an easy decision.
“We believe now is the perfect time to share the news as we head into Sunday’s Challenge Cup game where Hull FC will wear the special edition Jacuzzi® Jersey.”
Hull FC Chief Executive, James Clark, also added:
“This announcement is significant for a number of reasons, most notably that our club has the strength to attract and maintain high-profile and forward-thinking partnerships with internationally recognisable brands like Jacuzzi®.
“More so, it demonstrates their unwavering commitment to directly supporting our players and staff with wellness and rehabilitation at a pivotal time, as well as the genuine promise to our fans and stakeholders in helping the club maintain commercial stability through this most turbulent and unexpected time.
“This is a fantastic gesture that demonstrates the genuine unity, respect and shared values between two well established, historic brands.”
He continued, “For me, the relationship we now have with our two primary partners, Atropa Pharmacy and Jacuzzi®, is far more than a traditional sponsorship arrangement – their unwavering support through the coronavirus pandemic has been second to none.
“They are now integral to the foundations of the club at a time when we needed them the most and we should be proud and encouraged to be associated with two fantastic organisations like these.”
