Jacuzzi® Spa and Bath UK are thrilled to announce a new partnership with the most successful British track athlete in modern history, double-double gold medallist of the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games – Sir Mo Farah.
The Olympian and world champion in both the 5000m and 10,000m track races has had a Jacuzzi® Hot Tub installed at his UK home to help improve recovery and drive performance at elite level.
Talking about his training routine in Jacuzzi®’s latest video he said, “I can’t wait when I stop running, like this morning I did a session on a treadmill – to get in the Jacuzzi®…When I come in here, get the massage on, turn the jets on and it feels like the muscles and everything feel a little bit more recovered.”
Training for a return to the track later this year, in an inspiring bid to break the men’s 1-hour distance record, Sir Mo also of course has more Olympic gold medals in his sights for Tokyo 2021.
Sir Mo had a Jacuzzi® J-495, one of the biggest and most powerful massage models, installed as part of a collaboration designed to showcase the ever-growing trend toward athletes utilising Jacuzzi® products at home and in performance centres.
“It’s really nice to be able to access this big Jacuzzi® – I love it.”
Sir Mo is not only seeing the well-known benefits of the hot tub on his performance and recovery, but he makes a point of also mentioning how it enhances the valuable time he spends with his loved ones:
“Not just for me – all my family. I’ve got four beautiful kids, a beautiful wife. We all get in and spend a lot of time in here… you can listen to music and just be relaxed and really enjoy it.”
Sir Mo’s new J-495 is commonly referred to as ‘the entertainer’s hot tub’, as it can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people, as well being equipped with some of the most sophisticated Jet technology in the entire product line-up. In short, it was made to be shared.
Andy Bewicke, Director at Jacuzzi® Brands UK said: “This collaboration is yet another example of Great Britain’s best collaborating with us to drive improved performance in their sport. It has been fantastic to work with Sir Mo and his team and we are really excited about partnering with one of our most decorated athletes. This is yet again a fantastic opportunity to support our country the best way we know how.”
