Mood reinvents the sauna for the hospitality sector

Wellness  /  24 March 2016

The term “sauna” generally refers to the Finnish sauna: a room of various sizes covered in wood, with wooden benches and a radiating heater which maintains the ambient temperature between 70 and 100°C. Steam is produced by pouring water onto the heated stones which creates humidity equivalent to 50-60 g H2O steam/M3.The duration of a standard Finnish sauna treatment is 5-20 minutes, followed by a cold bath or a shower and a recovery period at room temperature before returning into the sauna. In a single session, this is repeated two or three times.

Mood, Jacuzzi’s latest sauna offering, is flexible with a choice of four different sizes and is suitable for corner, back to the wall or niche installation making it ideal for any private or shared relaxation area. It has been designed to provide a complete experience of well-being whilst remaining easy to use and maintain as well. The hemlock wood construction has been carefully considered to provide a pleasant sauna experience and constant energy efficiency helping to reduce costs and ensuring the Mood becomes an asset to your business or home.
