Choose the right temperature

Wellness  /  04 February 2016

Water temperature is one of the key factors to consider when you decide to use the best moment of the day to relax in a Jacuzzi hot tub.

First of all, as a general rule regarding water temperature: the higher the temperature, the shorter the hot tub session should be. Hot water can increase blood flow and facilitate muscular relaxation helping to relieve pain.

In order to get the body acclimatised, it is good practice to start with a hydrotherapy session no longer than 10 minutes and build up until reaching your optimal time.

Water temperature that is above the body’s natural temperature (37°C) is considered hot; over 40°C it is considered very hot, whilst over 46°C is too much, even for more than a few seconds.  A good tip for getting the most out of your Jacuzzi Hot Tub: Before your jump in, at least once a month, it is great to use an exfoliating body scrub, to cleanse the skin, getting rid of all the dead cells and impurities.
